Rugby Lions U17s - Minneapolis Edina U17s Tour Itinerary:

12th Feb: 5:00pm - arrive at OLs Clubhouse for training session with Birchy's coaching team.
Evening: Curry Night in town.

13th Feb: Morning - Rugby School tour
Afternoon: Lions U17 v Edina U17 at Lions as warm-up fixture before Lions Nat League match v Waterloo
Evening: Drinks and supper at OLs with live music

14th Feb: Morning: Dan's Mini's training with volunteers from the U17s
Afternoon: Combined Lions and Edina side play a local U17 side
Evening: England v Italy on TV at OLs followed by Party and Food. >See poster

15th Feb: 8:00am coach departure for Heathrow, collection point to be announced.

The VPs Away Day has been changes from 13th February to the match at Barkers Butts on 6th March. Meet at 11:30am in the Fighting Cocks.

Winter Training

Please note that training will be held as normal on Tuesdays 22nd and 29th December but NOT on Thursdays 24th and 31st.

Following last Winter's very successful training sessions and to protect our training pitch, we will be training on the Astro Turf pitch at Bilton School from the 11th of Jan, details as follows :

Mon Jan 11th, 18th & 25th ,
Mon Feb 1st, 8th & 15th from 7pm to 8pm
Tues 23rd Feb from 8.30 to 9.30
We have had to move training back to Monday night due to the availability of the Astro Turf pitches.

Training will continue at as normal on a Thursday night at Fenley Fields.

Snail Racing Night

Bonfire Night thanks from Reiner

The O.L’s Bonfire Night was another great success, many thanks to all who attended and particular thanks to our helpers: -

BONFIRE: Arwel, who spent many hours building us a most impressive bonfire. Whilst some contributions to the bonfire where gratefully received there was a lot of stuff that was not welcome, Arwel asks that in future nothing is dumped without first consulting him.

Congratulations to Pete and Sarah Nealon on the birth of a baby daughter, Roseanna Marie, who arrived a few weeks early. Best wishes from everyone at OL's.

The Easter club tour to Whitley Bay (coupled with Bernie's Stag do) will be held from Saturdfay 3rd April to Monday 5th April. Anyone interested will need to pay a £30 deposit to Paul Willis or Dave Middleton by Saturday 24th October.
