Ladies and Gentlemen,
The first half of the new season has provided a bit of a mixed bag with two disappointing home defeats at the hands of Leamington and Silhillians and two away defeats at Newbold and particularly at lowly Upton on Severn.
On the positive front, we have managed to record the highest number of bonus points in the league which has kept us in touch and a run of wins following the Intermediate Cup win at Bugbrooke included inflicting the first defeat on leaders Barkers Butts and a win against strong performers Berkswell & Balsall.
I know the players appreciate the support they receive from you, the Griffin Club Members, and it’s not too late for you to join the ‘club’ and cheer on Paul Willis and his team for the second half of the season.
Lunches are provided for home league games and National Cup fixtures as and when home draws are known. During the coldest months buffet lunches will be replaced by hot meals.
The full year cost was the same as last year, i.e. £80.00 per couple, and £45.00 for a single person but, please have a word if you want to join for the remainder of this season when we can make a suitable reduction.
