The 1st XV begin their Midlands 1 West campaign with a home tie against old friends Leamington RFC. It will be a welcome chance for some of our "older" players to renew old acquaintances and for the newer players to be introduced!

The 2nd XV meanwhile pay a visit to local rivals Rugby Welsh for a pre-season friendly under the leadership of this year's 2nd team captain, James Melvin.

Both matches kick off at 3:00pm and we wish both sides well in what is sure to be a tough test. team selections>

As always, we wish all players, spectators and officials an enjoyable and safe day of rugby at Fenley Field.

On Saturday evening, the social scene kicks off with a pig-roast, disco and karaoke starting at 7:00pm so let's get into the swing of things "from the off". see details>

We are pleased to have enlisted the services of Gary Thompson as Touch Judge for the forthcoming season and wish him the best of luck!

We've also only just found out from LSSC that Di finished her role at the end of last season in preparing the rugby team meals and we would like to take the opportunity of thanking her for all her efforts.
LSSC are now looking for someone to take on that role for this season. If you would be willing to be involved (even on a rota basis), please get in touch with Paul Simpson on 07941 456003 or via psimpson47@talktalk.net.

OLs entered a team in the recent Barkers Butts 7s tournament and put in some great performances to finish Runners-up with a very creditable performance against international 7s specialists Ronin Warriors A, losing the final 12-24. OLs won all of their pool games including a 31-7 win over Broadstreet and a superb 24-7 victory over the Ronin B squad. report> and photos>

IMPORTANT: Over the next few weeks Hydrex are carrying out important ground maintenance during which time and for safety, the normal home team exit door from the clubhouse will be locked. Please stay away from work areas and heavy plant equipment.
