Want to play (or watch) rugby? We’d love to hear from you!

Old Laurentian RFC has its headquarters at Fenley Field, Lime Tree Avenue, Bilton – close to the town, but a pleasantly peaceful and attractive location.

The club welcomes players of all abilities, so don’t be put off if your style of rugby is strictly of the social variety! On the other hand, if you are keen to make your way in the game, the standard in the higher teams at OLs is good and it is a consistently successful club at its own level.

The club’s objective centres on achieving the best possible playing standards in the amateur game without ever sacrificing its reputation for being a friendly, sociable place to be.

At Fenley Field there are three rugby pitches, widely acknowledged as being of a high standard with excellent playing surfaces. The 1st XV pitch boasts a 250 seat grandstand, so if watching rugby is your thing you can do it in comfort (and keep dry!) A fully equipped gym is available to all members, playing or not, to help build and maintain your fitness. And the clubhouse offers a warm welcome, particularly during the darker days of winter when you can toast yourself in front of our roaring log fire!

The social scene is vibrant, with regular events throughout the year. And in summer you can turn out for some fun cricket in the local midweek league.

We are keen to enlist more playing members now to make sure that we can continue to turn out a minimum of three teams each week. If you are interested, you can just turn up at our training nights, on Monday and Thursday each week from 7.00 onwards; or come along on a Saturday afternoon (see Fixtures) and meet up with us.
