Old Laurentian RFC, the OL's, are one of Rugby’s premier junior rugby sides, currently playing their rugby in Midlands 3. We attract players from all backgrounds & standards who choose to play their rugby at Fenley Field because of the spirit in which we play the game.  Our squads contain many current and former county players along with a number whom have played for the likes of Leicester Tigers and Rugby Lions. Our club has an enviable tradition for playing competitive rugby in a friendly environment and we have a loyal group of players and supporters that sees our home games regularly attract crowds of all generations.

OL's are a member of  Rugby & District RFU, an association which sees 9 clubs under its umbrella and looks after the interests of over 400 adults, playing rugby each Saturday, within a 10 mile radius of the town which gave us the game.  More of our history can be seen by clicking here. The 2004/5 season saw a return to Midlands 2 after our brief, but educating, experience in Midlands 1 and gave us the opportunity of renewing old rivalries and meeting new friends.  Unfortunately results did not go our way and two seasons later we were relegated to Midlands3.  The club currently fields 3 adult sides along with an occasional Development XV that gives an opportunity for recent Lawrence Sherriff leavers, currently at university, to play competitive rugby during vacations.  A Colts side now plays its rugby at Fenley Field too and we look forward to their players breaking into our senior sides as soon as age permits.

OL's also enjoys an active social calendar with regular events for players, VP's and the Griffin Club

Old Laurentian RFC welcome players of all standards and ages who are looking to play rugby in a friendly and sociable environment so why not have a look around this site or visit us on a Monday or Thursday evening or Saturday afternoon.
