In 2007 it will be the 10th anniversary of OLRFC's last North American tour. Considering we toured there 3 times in the 90's a 4th is long overdue. To celebrate the 10th anniversary Steve Pike & Reiner Ferguson are organising another.

For approximately 10 days in early May 2007 OLRFC will send 2 Teams of players & a selection of non-players to visit our friends in Minneapolis plus one other destination.

We propose to play an "A" & "B" fixture at each venue and hope the "B" fixture in Minneapolis will include Vets wanting to renew old acquaintances. We also have the Cinco de Mayo Golf Trophy to defend, last played for at Newbold Commyn in 2000. As on past tours expect more “Jollies” to be organised by our guests & us.

To make the tour available to as many members as possible successful fund raising is going to be vital. Many events will be organised over the next 18 months and they’ll need support. All tourists will be expected to attend & where necessary help the organisers. Tourist who can’t or don’t attend fund raisers will be asked to contribute the cost of a ticket or more depending on the event.
